The comments on SensoryMetrics are being 'processed' by our new comment system DISCUS. We'll give them a day or two to catch up. Some of the old comments are showing up just fine, but somewhere during the import there was a hiccup. My suspicion is we might lose some comments with embedded YouTube videos. I'll have to check.

You need to go through heavy metal detox. It is possible to get the mercury out of the system with a detox. Also, a suana will help you to sweat it out, but it will take sometime. Not easy! Heavy metal detox!

I agree with you that they should ban cfls too.
Go strait to LEDS. Government trying to be kind to businesses that make these bulbs. Who have invested a lot into making them. phasing them in slowly.

These amazing things have been in all airports across here in Britain since they were fitted in 2005. As far as I know, not one has broken yet, which is incredible given the number of people that use them.

I don't think so, Google doesn't even know we exist. I can't imagine they'd take the time to remove us from their search results. That would be weird.
In fact, we're still getting lots of traffic, it's just not being shown by Analytics. You'd think Feedburner and Analytics would be completely separate products, although it's hard to say how they're connected if at all.

I'm still not sure if it's Feedburner alone that's messed up or just Google Analytics. They're obviously tied together somehow. I wonder if all that traffic was fake?

I agree — they do work well and have been around for some time.

Very noisy though, and feels a bit weird to put your hands into a machine. Now we just need to get motion-activated taps in all public amenities, and remove all the doors and we'll actually make a difference to the spread of disease. Women, you'd be surprised at how many men don't wash their hands.

They actually work well Jobe! I've found them in some US airports. It's a freaky feeling when you stick your hand it. Like a million tiny little fairies drying your hands. Or something like that.

It makes me wonder if tablet screen touching, even with the addition of gestural multi-touch, can really compete with a keyboard and mouse (especially a 2 button scroll wheel mouse). I guess it all depends on what you use a touch device for. I can say for sure that my iPod touch apps that require pressing buttons on the screen are awkward not only because my fingers hide what I'm looking at, but also because I can't actually feel the buttons. In my opinion, the iPhone touch screen can't compete with the gaming experience and feel of real buttons on a Sony PSP or Nintendo DS.
Better yet, would be to use the edge of the screen for scrolling through text and navigating menus. If only we could make our hands invisible the tablet PC with a touch screen might finally catch on. You never know, Apple might surprise us with reasons to want to touch the screen instead of the mouse.
